Reviews
Moving to eXp doesn't mean starting from scratch. We understand that your client database is one of your business's most valuable assets, which is why we work with you to make the transition as seamless as possible.
Depending on your existing CRM provider, we can support the migration of your customer data, property records and historical information into your new systems, helping to minimise disruption and maintain business continuity. Our onboarding team will guide you through the process, ensuring you understand what can be transferred and creating a migration plan that works for your business.
If you'd like to discuss migrating your current CRM or understand how your existing data can be integrated into the eXp ecosystem, please get in touch and we'll be happy to talk you through the available options.
eXp operates on a simple monthly subscription model, replacing many of the larger fixed costs traditionally associated with running an estate agency. Rather than carrying the ongoing expense of premises, employment costs and other fixed overheads regardless of income, businesses move to a leaner model where many costs are aligned with successful property completions—meaning you pay when revenue is generated, helping to improve cash flow and reduce financial risk.
Agents work towards an annual commission cap. Once an agent reaches their cap, they move onto a significantly increased commission split for the remainder of their anniversary year, allowing them to retain the vast majority of the commission they earn. Through a combination of capping, ICON Agent awards and other incentives, agents have the opportunity to earn 100%+ commission on their transactions.
eXp offers additional wealth-building opportunities that are not typically available in a traditional agency. Eligible agents can earn eXp stock awards for achieving key milestones and contributing to the growth of the company, while Revenue Share provides the opportunity to build an additional recurring income by helping other agents grow their businesses. Together, these create multiple income streams and help agents build long-term wealth and an exit strategy beyond simply selling property.
If you'd like to understand how eXp could reduce your fixed costs, improve profitability and create additional income opportunities for you and your agents, get in touch for a tailored comparison based on your current business.
Setup / Onboarding
Our onboarding and implementation process is tailored to the size and complexity of each business and typically takes between 1–3 months. This ensures every agency has the time, support and structure needed to make a successful transition without disrupting day-to-day operations.
Working alongside our onboarding team and experienced eXp leaders, we help you develop a transition plan covering business structure, agent migration, compliance, branding, systems, financial planning and operational workflows. Existing agency owners and their teams receive dedicated training, coaching and implementation support throughout the process, ensuring everyone understands the self-employed model and is equipped for success.
Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, the rollout is carefully phased to suit the business, allowing owners to maintain service levels while confidently transitioning to their new operating model. By the time the onboarding is complete, agencies have the systems, knowledge, support network and confidence to operate successfully within eXp, with ongoing coaching and business development continuing long after launch.
Training & Support
For existing estate agency owners, eXp provides a structured pathway to transition from a traditional employed model to a modern self-employed business. Rather than simply asking businesses to change overnight, we work alongside owners with a proven onboarding, training and implementation programme designed to support both leadership and agents through every stage of the transition.
This includes guidance on restructuring the business, recruiting and retaining self-employed agents, implementing systems and processes, leadership coaching, business planning, and ongoing mentoring from experienced operators who have successfully made the move themselves. Owners also gain access to a collaborative network of agency leaders who share best practice, strategies and support.
By moving away from expensive offices, employment liabilities and other fixed overheads, businesses can create a leaner, more scalable operation where agents are empowered to run their own businesses while benefiting from the support of the wider organisation. The result is lower overheads, improved profitability, greater agent retention, and a business model that is built for long-term sustainable growth rather than increasing fixed costs as the company expands.
