10 property podcasts estate agents should actually listen to in 2026

There are now more property podcasts than anyone has commutes. These are the ones we’d make room for — from sharp market updates and agency growth advice to candid conversations about leadership, PropTech and where the industry is heading.

Property has become very good at talking to itself. Fortunately, some of those conversations are actually worth listening to.

The best industry podcasts do something LinkedIn posts struggle to do: give people enough time to finish a thought. You get the story behind the business decision, the awkward bit that did not go to plan, the argument about AI that lasts longer than seven lines and, occasionally, somebody saying what everyone else has been thinking.

This is not a ranking. It is our current listening list for estate agents, letting agents and property people who want something useful in their ears.

01 / New on our radar

EAVolution — Dezrez

Best for: PropTech, AI and what technology actually means for an agency on the ground.

One of the newer additions to the property podcast pile — and a good example of how a supplier can create industry content without turning it into a 45-minute product demo.

Dezrez’s EAVolution series is built around conversations about PropTech, technology and where estate agency is heading. Managing Director Richard Price and Head of Group Account Management Ben Jobbins tackle the questions agents are actually asking: where can AI remove admin, how is technology changing the way buyers and vendors find agencies, and where does the hype stop and genuine usefulness begin?

It feels particularly timely because the AI conversation has moved on. Agents no longer need another explanation of what ChatGPT is. They want to know what to automate, what absolutely still needs a human and what changes the numbers. EAVolution looks like it is going to be interested in that bit.

02 / People, property and straight talking

The Viking Chats — Kristjan Byfield

Best for: the conversations that happen when property, tech, business and real life collide.

Yes, Kristjan “The Viking” Byfield has a podcast — and it is very Kristjan.

The Viking Chats avoids the polished corporate interview in favour of candid conversations with founders, agents and industry personalities. Lettings, AI, acquisitions, leadership and business mistakes all get a turn.

Our recent pick is his conversation with Lucy Noonan of Atomic Consultancy. Lucy talks about leaving a secure corporate career, nearly building a much smaller business than she was capable of, and receiving some fairly uncompromising advice about backing herself. The episode title — Stop Being a Fanny and Back Yourself — gives you a reasonable clue about the level of corporate sanitisation involved!!

03 / The human side of the industry

The WiEA Pod — Women in Estate Agency

Best for: honest career stories, leadership and the people behind the job titles.

The WiEA Pod is back for a new season, and it is a useful antidote to podcasts where everybody apparently built a wildly successful business without ever having a bad Tuesday.

Women in Estate Agency uses the show to give people across the sector space to talk properly about careers, ambition, setbacks, leadership and what success actually looks like.

Our current pick

Russell Jervis: “I was successful. So why was I unhappy?” Verona Frankish talks to the Rayner Personnel Group MD about 33 years in the industry, ambition, identity and the moment he realised traditional definitions of success were no longer working for him.

Our own Simon Whale has also joined the WiEA conversation previously, so yes, we are slightly biased.

Simon shares his early PropTech journey, what inspired him to launch Kerfuffle, and how a cancer diagnosis reframed everything — from business to balance. He talks honestly about burnout, bravado, and the power of not always being the smartest (or loudest) in the room.

They managed to squawk a tear out of him and maybe even got under the Whaley persona to the lesser-known Simon. Just. You’re just in time for the new season and it’s well worth subscribing.

04 / Agency growth

The Estate Agent Consultancy Podcast — Chris Webb

Best for: more listings, stronger fees and practical agency growth advice.

Chris Webb has built a large library of short tactical episodes alongside longer conversations with people from across the industry and each episode is a real wow moment.

The appeal is practicality. Pricing conversations, prospecting, follow-up, self-employed agency models, video, winning instructions and how owners should spend their time all appear regularly.

One from the archive we particularly liked: Chris’s conversation with the ever lovely Clare Yates (you'll have seen her at KCON) on leadership in estate agency. It gets beyond management-job-title stuff and into how people actually lead teams, build confidence and communicate.

05 / Market intelligence

The Property Podcast — Rob & Rob

Best for: keeping one ear on the wider housing, mortgage and investment market.

Rob Bence and Rob Dix have been doing this long enough to have seen quite a few “property markets that changed everything”. That perspective is useful.

Their regular market updates pull together house prices, mortgage rates, landlord policy, rental changes and the wider economy without requiring you to read twelve reports before breakfast.

Start with: The latest one! They do monthly check ins - so stick woth the October 2026 Market Update, covering rising mortgage pricing despite an unchanged base rate, stalled house prices, landlord administration, rental policy and the housing supply slowdown. Despite that, there's no doom and gloom!

06 / Owners and entrepreneurs

The Estate Agency X Podcast

Best for: agency owners who want the business conversation, not just the property conversation.

Estate Agency X leans heavily into entrepreneurship, ownership and leadership. Its strongest episodes tend to be the ones where guests are prepared to discuss the difficult bits of building an agency rather than just presenting the finished version.

If you are thinking about culture, scale, recruitment, positioning or simply how other owners are solving the same problems you have, there is plenty to raid in the archive.

07 / Leadership

Estate Agency Leaders — Ian Preston

Best for: leadership, culture and how larger agencies actually operate.

Ian Preston sits down with agency owners, operators and industry leaders and gives the conversation enough time to go beyond the standard origin story.

Recent subjects have ranged from technology and AI to culture, fees, financial services, scaling large branch networks and the shift in what property management needs to look like. It is particularly good listening if you manage people rather than only properties.

08 / Premium agency

The Complete Agent

Best for: fees, positioning, premium listings and seller conversations.

Hosted by working agents David Warburton, Ian Storey and James Kendall, The Complete Agent is strongest when it gets into the commercial realities of running an agency: pricing, vendor management, marketing, personal brand and whether your service genuinely supports the fee you want to charge.

A recent episode asking whether agents blame “the market” for stock that is not selling when the real problem is seller management is a good example of the tone: useful, occasionally uncomfortable and grounded in what happens in actual valuation rooms.

09 / News and regulation

Propertymark Pulse

Best for: the industry news you need to know without turning it into another inbox subscription.

Not every podcast needs a two-hour founder journey. Propertymark Pulse is useful for the opposite reason: it is designed as a property-sector news bulletin with commentary and expert opinion for professionals who need to keep up while they are travelling between appointments.

With regulation moving quickly across sales, lettings and property management, having an industry-body podcast in the rotation is sensible even if it is not always the one you put on for entertainment.

10 / Strong opinions welcome

BestAgent Estate Agency Podcast — Charlie Lamdin

Best for: provocative takes on how the housing market and estate agency should work.

You do not have to agree with Charlie Lamdin to get something from listening to him. In fact, occasionally disagreeing with him may be part of the point!!

The BestAgent podcast ranges across transactions, agency standards, market structure and what Charlie thinks the industry gets wrong. It is useful listening when you want an argument to test your own thinking against rather than another comfortable consensus.
