The Winners of the 2020 RAN Awards Revealed

Kerfuffle is delighted to be the platinum sponsor for this year’s Relocation Agent Network (RAN) Conference. The event and awards ceremony took place on Thursday 3rd Dacember in a new virtual format due to Covid restrictions.

The winner of the Overall Relocation Agent of the Year Award was Duncan Yeardly Estate Agents. The family run business based in Bracknell was judged to be the agent who has most excelled in leading the field of UK estate agency and RAN Network standards.

For the first time ever, RAN presented a Supplier of the Year Award which was sponsored by Kerfuffle and voted for by RAN agents. The overall winner was telephone answering provider Moneypenny, with Acaboom and Spectre as close runner-ups.

Moneypenny has had a phenomenal year, successfully launching 3 new solutions whilst continuing to service their vast agent network during these unprecedented times. Over the last 12 months they have launched outbound calling, a covid-bot and digital dashboard.

Acaboom, market appraisal specialists, demonstrated significant value for Trigg & Co who have seen an uplift of 15% in instructions won since using Acaboom, and they have sent out over 265 presentations with 0 unsubscribes - an enviable track record.

Spectre has impressed Thomas Morris: "An extremely effective part of our marketing strategy" is how Simon Bradbury described it. Over a 5 month period, Spectre has helped them achieve agreed sales fees worth over £160k, generated 261 valuation appointments and listed 81 properties all of which received 1 Spectre letter.

The winners of the customer service awards included Miles & Barr (Category A), The Frost Partnership (Category B), Bourne Estate Agents (Category C), Ashtons (Category D), FBM (Category E), Duncan Yeardley (Category F), Maxwell Hodgson (Category G), Rona Partnership (Category H) and Horizon Estate Agents (Category I).

RAN's top 3 negotiators from the Network were named as John Young of Drivers & Norris, James Plumb of Ashtons, Deborah Cundill of Manning Stainton.

The Wilkinson Partnership took home the accolade of Platinum League Winner, whilst Platinum Membership was awarded to the following members:Miles & Barr, The Frost Partnership, Bourne Estate Agents, Ashtons, FBM, Duncan Yeardley, Maxwell Hodgson, Rona Partnership, Horizon Estate Agents, The Wilkinson Partnership, Richard James,        Barbers, Drivers & Norris, Michael Anthony, Webbers, Thomas Morris, Henderson Connellan, Pygott & Crone and Graham Butt.

The pre-recorded event went live for the presentation of the £5k Prize Draw. Simon Bradbury, managing director at Thomas Morris, was ecstatic to present the £5,000 cheque to fellow team member Chloe Faris.

Huge congratulations to all of the winners and companies shortlisted, and to RAN for putting on the event during these challenging times.
