A good friend of mine from our industry Dom Subianni was sadly diagnosed with Huntington’s disease a couple of years ago.

It’s a progressive illness that affects the brain causing uncontrolled movements and cognitive problems.

Last year we climbed a mountain with Dom, raising £70,000 for the Huntington’s Disease Association. This year we’re traversing the 31 miles of the River Wye by canoe with Dom and over 80 agents, suppliers and friends. We’re hopeful of beating last year’s total as we continue to support this fantastic charity and our adored friend.

The event will starts with the first of a two day leg on the water followed with a dinner on the 4th September attended by all of the participants and more. There will be a hotly contested ‘Auction-Off’ between two of the industry's giants SDL and I Am Sold to see who can raise the most money. With 6 Nation's tickets, golfing at Wentworth and executive hospitality at the home of the European cup holders Liverpool to name just a few of the prizes, it should be a hugely successful evening.

For those who like their footy Iain Dowie , West Ham, Southampton, Palace and Northern Ireland legend now with GoTo will be calling out all wannabe stars to beat him in a penalty shoot out. I’ve already practiced my Babe Ruth approach of pointing where the balls going to go before scoring.
