I started my property career at Romans where I joined as a Lettings Negotiator, back in the days when Dale ran it and Peter Fuller was my Director. Good times!

I fell madly in love with my boss (my now husband Paul) and decide that I needed to work away from my boyfriend and joined Countrywide where I was then headhunted to set up the lettings arm of an estate agents in Farnham called Bourne.

I left the industry for a while and had 3 children, ran a childminding business, and soon realised how much I missed it so started doing some consultancy for a local lettings firm.

I decided to return to work fully and realised that estate agency and parenthood don’t really go hand and hand. (This is something I’m passionate about changing by the way)

I was given the opportunity to take on a self-employed recruitment role that would work around childcare, so with an email address and a morning of LinkedIn training, I was unleashed!

That was a few years ago and since then I have learned through trial and error, reading and learning, and most importantly listening; what makes a good recruiter.

In January 2020 I set up Broomham Recruitment. Not to re-invent the wheel, just simply to do it better and in the right way.

Now I'm a Property Recruiter, mother, wife, leader, podcaster, campaigner, mental health advocate, award winner, and human.
