Continued UK investment: the appointment forms part of Rex Software’s ongoing expansion of its UK team and technology offering.

Leading property technology company Rex Software has strengthened its UK team with the appointment of Maia Brams as CRM onboarding and support specialist.

In her new role, Maia will work with clients throughout the onboarding process, helping them seamlessly move from their previous CRM to Rex and supporting them with data migration, training and gaining a greater understanding of the platform.

Her appointment brings experience from both the property and technology sectors, having previously worked for property management company Houst, where she supported clients through the onboarding process and helped them get set up with the company’s technology.

Maia’s move to Rex brings together her experience working directly with property clients and her interest in the technology behind the sector.

Bringing property and technology experience together

Maia’s move to Rex represents a natural progression towards the technology side of the property sector.

Her previous experience has given her an understanding of the challenges and expectations that can come with working with property professionals, experience she will now bring to her work supporting Rex customers.

Her role will span the onboarding journey, from helping clients move their data through to training teams and making sure they understand how to get the most from the Rex platform.

Why Rex stood out

Speaking about what attracted her to Rex, Maia said the move offered the opportunity to work more directly within PropTech, while the people and pace of development at the company also stood out.

“I previously worked in the property space, but it was between tech and property management, and I always knew I wanted to be more on the tech side of things. When I saw the role at Rex, everything about it seemed really interesting.”

“What really stood out to me throughout the interview process was the people. Everyone I met gave me a really positive impression of the company and where it was going.”

“Rex is constantly moving and integrating new things like AI, and that’s really exciting because you want to be somewhere that’s fast-paced and developing.”

A pragmatic approach to working with clients

Alongside her experience in onboarding, Maia says one of the strengths she brings to Rex is a pragmatic approach to understanding what clients actually need.

Moving CRM can involve different expectations, processes and ways of working across every agency. Understanding those individual requirements is therefore a key part of a successful onboarding experience.

“I think one of the things I can bring to Rex is a pragmatic approach to working with people.”

“Everyone has their own expectations, and sometimes what someone is saying isn’t necessarily what they mean, so I’m quite good at working through that while keeping a positive mindset. I like to just get on with things and find a way forward.”

Building product knowledge and taking on client projects

In her first few months at Rex, Maia has focused on building her product knowledge and deepening her understanding of the platform inside and out.

She is now taking on her own client onboarding projects, supporting customers throughout their transition to Rex and helping them get the most from the platform.

Maia’s role will support Rex customers with:

  • CRM onboarding
  • Data migration
  • Platform training
  • Understanding Rex’s tools and workflows
  • Getting teams comfortable with the platform from the outset

Continued investment in Rex’s UK team

Maia’s appointment forms part of Rex Software’s continued investment in its UK team as the company develops its expanding technology offering for estate and letting agents.

With agencies increasingly expecting their CRM to support more of the day-to-day operation, the onboarding and support surrounding the technology can be just as important as the platform itself.

The technology is only part of a successful CRM move.

Migration, training and hands-on support all help determine how confidently an agency can adopt a new platform.
