ASAP’s Quick Guides to Conveyancing & Charity Work

ASAP’s Quick Guides to Conveyancing

Roughly speaking the average person only moves every 20 years so it is not surprising that most people aren’t familiar with the conveyancing process – and yet it is probably the biggest transaction they will ever handle. As Sales Progression specialists, ASAP’s job is to help them through the conveyancing process as quickly and as smoothly as possible.

Drawing on their experience, they pre-empt, they chivvy but most importantly they explain. ASAP firmly believe that if people understand what to expect, they feel more in control which reduces their stress.

With that in mind they have now created some simple guides to give buyers and sellers a broad overview on what they can anticipate during the course of their transaction. Why not share them with your clients. Click here for more information and to download the guides

Front Door Friday Campaign

Helping Those In Need During These Challenging Times

Every year the property industry helps thousands of people complete their house sale or purchase, mostly taking place on a Friday. However, while for many this may be a time of celebration, we should all spare a thought for those who aren’t having such a good day.

Front Door Friday is a campaign to support those that need help in these challenging times. ASAP has committed to donating at least £1 for every completion we handle and we’d love you to get involved.

This year, our nominated charity is Samaritans. This incredible organisation is available round the clock, every single day of the year providing a safe place for anyone struggling to cope, whoever they are, however they feel, whatever life has done to them.

Whether you are a solicitor, estate agent, mortgage broker, buyer or seller, together we can help to ensure that every call is answered. With well over 1 million residential properties sold a year, imagine how much we could raise if everyone in the industry got behind this!

What can you and your clients do to support Front Door Friday?

1.Donate a £1 (or more!) for every transaction you and your clients are involved with. You can do this as frequently as you like but monthly or quarterly might be simplest. If you use the Front Door Friday Just Giving Page to make your contribution, it will go directly to Samaritans.

2. Add the Front Door Friday logo to your website to show you are supporting this campaign and help raise awareness.

3. Throughout the year the ASAP team will be organising some additional fundraising initiatives and your support will be welcome.

4. Organise your own fundraising activities to support the campaign.

Great effort from one of our Sales Progressors, Donna Johnston. She has set herself a challenge to run 100 miles this February to help raise funds for the Front Door Friday campaign. Go Donna!
