Crux Careers: Crux rebrand offers the estate agency market a complete 360° People Solution

Crux Careers has increased their offering to the property sector, beyond recruitment services. Their new mission statement is to offer agencies the opportunity to train, retain and mentor staff to actually negate the need to recruit. However, should an unavoidable issue arise, they now provide a low cost, HR Service to deal with employee issues and continue to provide a first class recruitment service that they are known for. 

Iain White, CEO for Crux has said the reasoning behind the rebrand is the need to look at the bigger picture and to help identify why the recruitment process is needed in the first instance: 

“During the recent pandemic, pingdemic and significant changes to the employment market where we have seen the market become very job heavy, it is clear that attracting the right candidates and retaining staff has proved more challenging.  By listening to our clients, we identified the need to retain staff through structured mentoring and training, rather than just providing recruitment, which often fails to address the underlying issue”

Also merging one of the industry’s biggest training suppliers, Agency Mentors, the newly branded Crux Mentors will offer first class training to the property market covering leadership skills through to courses aimed to improve negotiating and lister skills. Crux Mentors delivers the same high quality training, delivered by the same first-class industry experts and highly reputed trainers. 

Alongside Crux Careers and Crux Mentors, will stand the new Crux Consultancy. Using Iain White’s expertise as a highly respected agency leader, and a renowned individual and mentor throughout the industry, his knowledge of the sector has already helped agents reach their full potential by reassessing their staffing requirements, work ethos and business processes. 

Through his previous experience with Romans and Countrywide, plus positions on several boards of well known property and PropTech companies, he draws on personal knowledge when looking at improving how businesses can run more profitably and with greater staff retention.  Through Crux Consultancy, Iain is able to provide businesses with the right tools to build an effective, productive team, and how to create an environment which attracts the right people into business; ultimately helping with longevity of service and overall retention of staff. 

The final piece of the new 360° offering is Crux HR, a brand new HR service that is aimed specifically at the Estate Agency Market. The current alternatives for outsourced HR solutions offer lengthy contracts and expensive fees. With very little options to choose from, the feedback was that many agencies were unhappy with the level of the service they were receiving and the lack of options available to them. The lengthy, auto-renewed contracts and highly expensive cost for a service that offered agencies little in the way of fighting employment issues rather than a push towards settling claims, meant that the resolution was not always necessarily in the agent’s favour. 

The new Crux HR is a service which has come from a partnership with Attwells Solicitors who are employment law experts and who work closely with estate agents who together with Iain, were able to formulate a complete HR package with 4 different levels to suit all businesses from small enterprises through to multi-franchised agencies.
