Introducing 'Fast Start' from Sort Move

Fast-Start is a bespoke, digital onboarding proposition that allows sellers to become 'sale ready’ by completing their Digital Property forms online the moment they put their house on the market. Fast-Start presents an efficient way for the seller’s law firm to electronically issue contracts as soon as an offer is agreed; saving weeks of time in their Conveyancing journey.

At its core, Sort Move acts as a digital hub for Estate Agents, with products and services that include Conveyancing, Surveys, Specialist Property Reports and EPCs. These products add value to the customer journey and provide another income stream for the agent, through fair and transparent referral fees. They have an exciting roadmap for 2021 with more propositions planned for launch.

Fast-Start allows clients to complete the Digital Property forms via a desktop, tablet or mobile device. It also packages Biometric ID and AML checks, as well as digital signatures on all completed paperwork, which means that they can be accepted by the law firm once ready to progress.

Clients who start their Conveyancing process before an offer has been made save valuable time between the purchase offer and the legal exchange. Fast-Start helps clients to be more relaxed and assures a quicker average pipeline turn for the agents. It also aims to significantly reduce the cancellation rate, which will be helped by their future head start proposition for buyers, by providing better assurances to all that are directly involved and within the extended chain (where this occurs).

Recently, this new product has undergone beta-testing with some of their key partners to make sure that this service, powered by their award winning in-house development team, adds real value for both agents and their clients.

The feedback from agents who have used Fast-Start in their cases has been positive:

“Sort Move are constantly looking for ways to improve the experience for the customers, the recent release of Fast Start for sellers being a good example. This enables sellers to sign up as soon as they put their property on the market, complete ID checks and preliminary forms and paperwork to be 'contract ready' as soon as a buyer is found.” - Nicholas Webber, Westcoast properties

“I have used sort move for a few months now. I have to say when I set my small estate agency up I was worried about how I would get my clients speedy and professional quotes. With sort move I can do these quotes, tailor them to each client, include my own branding and offer them a unique platform. I love the updates I get for sales going through and also the incentive is very good for each file completion.” – Leanne Fuller O’Grady, Fuller O’Grady estates

Tom Gilbert, Sort Move’s Head of Estate Agency, expands: “Agents and their clients want a seamless journey from the moment an agency agreement is signed. With the pandemic effecting the length of time it takes for completed transactions, now on average 5 months, our goal was to get this back to 3 months. Our Fast-Start onboarding is an exciting feature and benefit to our current agents and for new introducers who wish to collaborate with us. This release comes shortly after our decision to include free buyer protection on all purchase cases which allows purchasers to get on with conveyancing from day one, all of which helps to drive down the sales progression time and fall through rates.”
