KNOWLEDGESHARE: The evolution of Estate Agent Training

Here is a thought leadership article from The Able Agent

The team at The Able Agent has been working hard to deliver insightful pieces that we are delighted to share with our readers.

In a recent blog, they have discussed the Evolution of Estate Agent Training in 2021 and their co-founder Charlotte Jeffrey-Campbell has shared their findings with us.

“Over the past 18 months, there has been a remarkable shift within the estate agent training sector, with the pandemic forcing the industry to evolve digitally. In an industry where training has traditionally been face-to-face, the COVID-19 crisis required estate agents to adapt their training methods in line with the external environment, causing a rapid adoption of digital training technologies.

The COVID-19 lockdown restrictions also saw individuals having more time to spend with their family and reassess their career aspirations, resulting in a significant increase in estate agents seeking additional training to enhance their careers.

As a result of online learning being viewed as a viable and more effective method of training in the estate agent industry, at The Able Agent, we have had over half a million page views since we launched in March 2020.“

The Able Agent has started to plan for the year ahead, making some exciting industry predictions. Charlotte claims “agents will pursue careers and not jobs in 2022”, and so “we need to make 2022 the year of developing foundations for quality property careers, creating strategies within agencies to tackle the challenges the industry is facing and cement a new way of working.”

Now is the time of year that estate agents should be starting to create their training plans for the upcoming year. If you’re training planning for the New Year and struggling with deciding on the best training, or you simply don’t know where to start with your training plan, then contact The Able Agent to find out how they can help you.
