Offr celebrate 20,000th online offer

Rising fuel costs and inflation booms may be leaving our pockets feeling squeezed, but recent results from property platform Offr shows that nothing can dampen the nation’s dreams of property ownership.

This month (March 2022) saw the 20,000th offer being made through the revolutionary Offr system, and we have our fingers crossed that this’ll mean another property dream comes true for the buyers!

Founded in September 2019, the Offr platform digitally supports buyers in climbing the property ladder. The online system, which is seamlessly integrated into estate agent websites, allows users to submit online offers for properties anywhere in the world, at any time of day or night, at just the click of a button.

No more phones going crazy over lunch breaks as offers come flying in, or email chains a mile long to trawl though – just simple submissions via the agent’s website. Offr agents have reported that nearly 40% of Offr offers are submitted outside of office hours, so the system is perfect for ensuring that you never miss a trick – and there’s no risk of voicemails going astray and offers not making it into the system!

There’s no disputing it, it’s a gloomy time economically at the moment – even after the latest Budget,’ said Niall Dawson, co-founder of Offr. ‘However we were delighted to see the 20,000th offer through the system! It shows that not only are people engaging with the Offr technology and enjoying a more streamlined property journey, but also, that the property markets across the UK and Ireland are still fighting fit!’

It’s a pretty risk-free process for the agents too, taking lots of legwork out of what can be a tense process. All offers submitted must be fully qualified, with information on funding details, buyer position, proof of funds, AML checks and ID verification all required before the submit button is hit. Great news for agents, as keeping all these vital details in one place certainly makes the next step - passing the offer on to the vendor - far, far simpler. You can use the system to accept offers for straightforward purchases, or bids for auctions, so however your sale is looking to proceed, there’s an Offr option that works for you, and your client.

‘We feel that every click through the system is another step closer to someone picking up the keys to their dream property, and that’s why we are so passionate about making this process as simple and hassle-free as possible for everyone involved – buyer, agent and vendor. We can’t help with gathering deposits or tracking perfect properties down, but once a buyer has their dream home in their sights, the rest of the journey really shouldn’t be an uphill battle!’ said Niall.
