We’re Officially in the Top 40 of ALL UK Franchises

I’ve had to keep tight-lipped for a few weeks now about some big news.

No, I’m not in line for a gong in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List, but I can announce that EweMove has made it into a very prestigious list.

We have been placed in the top 40 of the UK’s best 100 franchisees by Elite Franchise magazine and HSBC.

We join household names like Subway, Papa Johns and Snap-On Tools.

We are ranked 34th, above the likes of Clarks Shoes. And considering this is the first time we entered the judging process, it is a significant achievement.

I spoke to a franchise consultant about this recently, and he said it’s almost unheard of that companies get into the list on their first attempt. So we are doing something right.

According to the British Franchise Association, more than 1,000 franchise systems employ over 710,000 people in the UK, which gives insight into our company’s achievement.

It’s always great to be recognised by external organisations for what we do. But, ultimately, it all comes down to helping our franchisees serve their clients in the best possible way.

This is the first year we’ve submitted an entry to be considered in the top 100 list. This now gives us a foundation to build upon and get into the top 10 list, which is our main aim.

It’s a testimony to how we treat people, and to be benchmarked against some of the most well-run businesses in the UK, and do well, is an exciting prospect - as I know we can do better.

We’re excited about the future, and I’d like to thank all our franchisees and their dedication to client care and constant improvement for playing a massive part in us making it into the Elite Franchise list.

One thing is guaranteed. And that’s neither me, our team, or our high performing franchisees will be complacent.

We’ve big plans for next year, as alluded to in this article, and action is already being taken to turn those plans into reality.

It’s believing in something and working hard which makes memorable moments like featuring so high up in this list happen.

Thanks for reading.
