VERY BAD SUPPORT
Since 8x8/Global 4 took over the legacy CallSwitch platform, our company has endured more than a year of unresolved migration failures, poor communication, and ongoing billing disputes. The most concerning issue is that 8x8 has been unable to migrate its own inherited CallSwitch numbers onto its own platform, yet has continued billing us for the legacy system throughout this period.
We were never properly informed at the outset that we could be charged indefinitely because of their inability to complete the migration. Instead, we have been expected to absorb the financial cost of their technical shortcomings. For over a year, we have repeatedly requested updates, sought practical solutions, challenged incorrect invoices, and attempted to resolve the matter amicably, only to be met with delays, inconsistent information, and a lack of accountability.
To demonstrate our willingness to cooperate, we even agreed to abandon our long-established business telephone numbers and accept entirely new 8x8 numbers simply to bring this matter to an end. Yet the problem remains unresolved, while billing continues.
No customer should be expected to pay for a legacy service indefinitely because a provider cannot migrate its own systems. The amount of management time, frustration, and unnecessary cost this situation has caused is unacceptable. What should have been a straightforward migration has turned into more than a year of excuses, disputes, and ongoing charges for a service that the provider has been unable to properly transition. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend 8x8/Global 4 to businesses seeking a reliable telecommunications partner.
