Track record

Julian joined the estate agency industry in 1983. In 2000 he became a Partner of award-winning company Thomas Morris.

In 2002, Julian established TM Training & Development who successfully delivered training throughout the UK and abroad. In 2010, they won the prestigious Sunday Times “Estate Agency Supplier of the Year” award.

Julian and his wife Cat sold their shares in Thomas Morris in 2015 for a seven-figure sum, but he deemed himself to be just too young to retire, so he now delivers online training events that have helped agents achieve amazing results in terms of growth of market share, fee levels and profit. He has also recorded a fantastic series of estate agency training videos as part of a groundbreaking collaboration with Kerfuffle. He also provides training to major property industry suppliers like Rightmove and Moneypenny.

Julian has been a popular speaker at countless industry events, a regular writer for the trade press, an acclaimed webinar host and a respected industry awards judge.

Outside work, he is a passionate family man, an ambassador for Action Against Cancer and the creator and driving force behind an annual music festival, Catfest, which has raised over £160,000.

He is also a budding amateur artist (raising over £30,000 for the charity from selling his work). As a music trivia buff, he runs monthly online music quizzes. He also avidly follows Luton Town Football Club, explaining that “life is all about light and shade”.
