Free lockdown learning

kerfuffle has brought together top industry trainers to give estate agents and furloughed staff access to free training material during the lockdown. kerfuffle kampus will launch this Thursday with a training session from international sales speaker Tony Morris on ‘How to bounce back after lockdown’.

The scheme has been fast-tracked due to lockdown and this being the ideal time for personal development. In an interview on kerfuffle’s podcast last week Tom Panos emphasised that now is the time to get really good at what you do. Watch the interview in full here.

Trainers that have volunteered their time to be involved with kerfuffle kampus include: Tony Morris, Richard Rawlings, Julian O’Dell, Peter Knight, Stephen Brown, Charlotte Jeffery-Campbell and Iain White and this list continues to grow.

Chief kerfuffler Simon Whale commented: “This is a huge opportunity to upskill staff without the distraction of fee earning work. All to often I have see agents in training checking emails or running out to take calls because they see the value of a fee as far greater than their training needs. Without this distraction at the moment, it really is the perfect opportunity to make your team even stronger and build their confidence.

“Of course, you also don’t want them getting ring rusty or losing contact and engagement with the industry because when this market pause is lifted, all of the experts are saying there is going to a be a lot of work to do! And there are mental health benefits too – its an opportunity to show people they’re still valued and not forgotten about.

“This is a free scheme that is open to anyone whether they’re still working or furloughed and we’ll be sharing the information with business owners so that they can use this as a really positive way of engaging with these team members – “let’s have our best month yet when you’re back” message.

“It’s credit the kind spirit in our industry that we’re able to offer such a worthwhile scheme – I couldn’t be more blown away by the generosity of those getting behind it – thank you, you amazing bunch!”

Suppliers will also be getting involved in the training, offering courses to help upskill workers on their products to ensure their users are getting the most out of their systems and benefiting from maximum efficiencies for the big bounce back. Any suppliers that haven’t signed up yet can get involved by emailing our kerfuffle kleaner, sarah@kerfuffle.it.
