Pattinson move to Openview to achieve true, advanced automation.

The Oxfordshire based PropTech founders and software developers of Openview, today announced they have welcomed Pattinson Estate Agents to their list of clients.

Peter Grant, Managing Director, said “Pattinson had reached a point with their existing systems, that made their exciting ambitions for growth untenable, without attracting serious overheads in staffing and additional tech products. Openview is the only complete cloud-based platform, that combines the functionality of all the current CRM’s and PropTech’s into a single, end-to-end and highly configurable solution to fully automate your daily operations”.

After extensively researching the market and looking at numerous software packages, Pattinson narrowed down the best option to Openview, following which they went into a meticulous period of consultation. During this consultation period, a Business Analysis was mutually constructed, that not only identified further areas of concern and opportunity. From this, the bespoke tech template was constructed, including a detailed migration roadmap.

The deployment addressed efficiencies in basic functionality, such as the electronic signing of tenancy agreements, communications and process in property management, then we move onto the more sophisticated items, such as the maintenance app, ‘Task Manager’, which manages maintenance requests more effectively by improving accountability and oversight. However, by far the biggest benefit was the deployment of automation. One example that brought immediate benefits was Openview automatically notifying tenants of rent arrears within 4 days, with a reminder 11 days later and then every 7 days following that.

Jonathan Parker, Head of Residential Lettings, said “As a result, Openview has been able to deliver substantial time savings to the business. The level of automation and reporting on rent arrears has been revolutionary and has had immediate benefits to the operation”.

The Openview team are delighted to have Pattinson onboard, and continue working with them to further improve processes and levels of automation, enabling them to stay ahead of the curve and continue providing a market-leading service.

Pattinson Estate Agents was launched by Keith Pattinson on 4th July 1977, and have grown from one office with one man selling three properties to twenty-seven offices across the North East. They have around two-hundred members, have sold over 38,302 houses valued at over £4 Billion and are the industry leader in the North East.
