The Q2 2023 Residential Property Trends Report is now available from Landmark Information Group

Landmark Information Group has published their Q2 2023 Residential Property Trends Report, which provides key market insights over this period. This report covers every stage of the residential property transaction journey in England, Scotland and Wales, looking at all the important milestones from listings to SSTC/SSTM, and searches ordered to completions.

Download the report to discover the latest trends driving the residential sector. For example, this quarter has seen:

  • Listing volumes strengthen – we have witnessed the highest levels of supply for a year in England & Wales.
  • SSTC volumes struggle to progress, with levels 30% down vs Q2 2019 in England & Wales. In Scotland, STTM levels were down 10%.
  • Completions slow in England & Wales – down 13% on Q1 ’23 volumes. In Scotland, completion activity reduced by 13% and registered sales dropped by 11%.
  • Overall, the market is still being impacted by high interest rates, restricted mortgage availability and squeezed affordability.
