Rex taps into the technology reducing American agents’ lead follow-up time by 90%

“We know agents and admin need to jump in and out of multiple tech tools, every single day – entering data twice, then double-checking and triple-checking it’s correct,” says Rex Product Manager Tom McCarthy.

“By integrating with Zapier, the Rex CRM removes the need for humans to intervene in basic admin workflows. For example, our Rex users could use Zapier so that, when a listing is published on their website, three things happen: the vendor receives an SMS, the listing is automatically posted to the agent’s Facebook page and their team is alerted via Slack.”

Zapier is an automation tech tool that connects two or more apps or services, saving agents from monotonous, repetitive tasks. A “Zap” is an automated workflow, made up of trigger events and consequential actions.
“Zapier is like a magic set of dominos – connecting one thing to another when a trigger sparks, creating a chain reaction,” says McCarthy.

Over 3,000 apps can be integrated through Zapier, including Google Docs, Slack, Twitter, YouTube, Dropbox and Microsoft Office 365.

Agencies can use it to automate more parts of the customer journey, take care of frustrating admin tasks and reduce double data entry. When a contract goes unconditional, for example, Zapier can tell the Rex CRM to send all necessary parties receive a confirmation email.

The team at Rex believe Zapier’s automation workflows can give agencies a point of difference from their competitors.

“In America, real estate brokers have been using Zapier to reduce lead follow-up time by 90% and cold calling by 75%. Our users can now tap into that same technology, and spend the time they save prospecting, negotiating and building better relationships,” says McCarthy.

“This single integration opens your agency up to a world of opportunity.”
